Hi, I’m Katie, the heart behind Lemon and Lace Studios. This business started in a really full season of life, while I was working as an ICU nurse in Omaha, Nebraska with a toddler at home and a creative pull I couldn’t shake. Photography became my outlet, then my passion, and eventually something I knew I wanted to build into more. It didn’t happen overnight, but over the years it grew into the business it is today.
Now I’m a mom to five kids, and they are truly my why behind everything I do. They’ve grown up alongside this business, and a big part of my heart in building it has always been showing them that you can follow what you love and still create a life that supports your family. That balance isn’t always perfect, but it’s real, and it’s something I care deeply about.
What started as just me has grown into a small, incredible team of women who genuinely care about the people we work with. Our goal has always been to create photos that feel like you, while making the experience feel easy, comfortable, and actually enjoyable. We’re not about stiff posing or making things feel overly complicated. We’re about connection, trust, and capturing moments in a way that feels natural and true.
Photography has never been just my job. It’s the way I preserve the people I love the most, the moments pass too quickly, and the stories that deserve to be remembered long after the season has changed. It has shaped my family, supported our dreams and give me the incredible privilege of helping others hold on to the people and memories that matter the most.
The Lemon & Lace Story
A few fun facts about me… Lemon and Lace actually has a really personal meaning behind the name. My mom grew up in California, and absolutely loved lemons, she would tell us how she would pick them right off the tree. It became our thing as a family- even cousins, we would literally eat them like candy as kids. It sounds a little wild, but it’s one of those small, happy memories that stuck with me, and lemons have felt special ever since.
That love carried into the brand in a way that just felt right. Lemon and Lace is a mix of where I came from and the feeling I want my work to have, something fresh, warm, a little nostalgic, and full of life. It’s a piece of my story woven into everything I’ve built.

Victoria Lindeen
I’ve been an associate photographer with Lemon and Lace Studios since 2018, and I love creating a fun, relaxed experience for every client. Whether I’m playing with kids during family sessions or joking around with couples on their wedding day, I do whatever I can to keep things natural, comfortable, and full of genuine connection. Outside of photography, I work full-time in healthcare and family services and stay busy raising two teens alongside a gaggle of pets.

I’m a mom of four and have spent the last 15 years helping behind the scenes with my husband’s marketing business, so organization and planning have become second nature. Being part of the Lemon and Lace team has been such a special experience, especially as a group of hardworking moms balancing family life while creating something meaningful together. I love helping make every wedding and client experience feel smooth, stress-free, and centered around genuine connection.

I’m a photographer, wife, and proud mom of four who believes life’s most meaningful moments deserve to be remembered. I love creating authentic, timeless images that tell your family’s unique story, whether it’s a milestone celebration or an ordinary moment filled with love. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family and embracing the beautiful chaos of everyday life.

My love for photography began in high school and was reignited after the birth of my first son, when documenting everyday moments quickly grew into a true passion and eventually my own business. Over the years I’ve continued to learn, travel, and grow creatively, and I was honored to have some of my work published in a Child Couture magazine. Joining Lemon and Lace has been an incredible chapter, and I’m so grateful to help preserve meaningful moments alongside such an inspiring team of women.

I first picked up a camera seven years ago to document the lives of my three littles, but photography has grown into so much more than that.
